Greg D’Ambrosio joined Praxiom in September 2014 as a Risk Manager.  With over twenty years of experience in the insurance and PEO industries, Greg is a welcomed and valuable addition to the Praxiom team.

Mr. D’Ambrosio began his career at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. After holding positions in operations and auditing, he spent most of his career at Fireman’s Fund as a Commercial lines underwriting manager responsible for workers’ compensation and commercial automobile lines of business.

After over a decade at Fireman’s Fund, Mr. D’Ambrosio held executive level risk manager positions in the Professional Employer Organization Industry.  In this role, he was responsible for the procurement of all commercial insurance, developing and directing risk management strategy, ensuring delivery of the risk management value proposition, and managing large books of business to successful, profitable outcomes.

He also served as Vice President at a commercial insurance brokerage firm responsible for the design and marketing of insurance programs.  Program structures included large deductibles, self-retention and alternative risk programs for PEOs (as well as other large entities) with an emphasis on workers’ compensation and employment practices liability insurance.

Mr. D’Ambrosio graduated from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He has obtained the Associate in Risk Management and Associate in Underwriting designations from the Insurance Institute of America.  He is also is a licensed insurance agent in the State of Florida. He has served on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations (FAPEO). He has authored several articles for the PEO Insider magazine as well as appeared as a featured speaker at both the annual NAPEO and Florida Workers’ Compensation conferences.
